There once was a class born from Hell;
The teacher of which couldn't spell
The notes were ridiculous,
The analogies, frivolous―
The quizzes, not made very well

In that class was a frustrated student
Who could hardly remember a moment
When material had sense
The verbs, correct tense
Or the teacher ever giving good advisement

Then a particular day of doom came
A regular day, all the same
A bleak Saturday,
The skies colored gray;
Somebody had published a game

The game was a tool used for study
Quizlet, your own "study buddy"
But the format was bad,
This made the student sad,
and this poem is becoming more and more cruddy

So the student decided to wait
They would study when the day became late
But of course that's not good,
So the rest of you should
Study at a fantastical rate

Me: General Washington, sir, I've been referred to you by a specialist.
Washington: ...Kindly go away.
Me: No, honestly, sir, it's a very important question
Washington: My dear lady, I express my sincerest condolences, but I I have very important dead person things to do.
Me: ...Dead person things. Like what?
Washington: Oh, I don't know, things like... rotting, for instance! Yes, yes, rotting! Skin, falling off my bones as they turn to dust! Things such as that!
Me: Oh. How pleasant.
Washington: Yes. Indeed. Why don't you go ask Mr. Jefferson about your problems? I'm sure he'll have an answer.
Me: ...You know, that's a great idea! [dashes off in a burst of hyperactivity]

...literally that's what went through my head right now. what a terrible person I am "OTL

[moments later, Lafayette is dragging TJ down a hallway]

TJ: Lafayette, would you please stop shoving me!? I can walk on my own!
Lafayette: I am sorry, monsieur, but little Emma ordered me to take you to her friend.
TJ: Friend? What friend? She has friends?
Lafayette: [offended] Monsieur! How ungentlemanly of you!
TJ: [sighs] You're right, Lafayette. I'm just rather confused: why should I have to be the one to talk to her friend?
Lafayette: Because, monsieur, General Washington said you would!
TJ: [shocked] Washington did? Who is her friend, anyhow?

[They walk through a door at the end of the hall]

Me: [grins awkwardly] Uh, hi.
TJ: Oh god not you again

Keigan: Uhh... What?
Lafayette: NEVER MIND. *Shoves Teej through door*

TJ: [stumbles awkwardly into the room after being shoved by Laffy. he recovers himself quickly] Alright, then, what would you like to ask me?
Me: Er. Um. How do I concentrate on studying?
TJ: Studying? How is that hard for you?
Me: I have the attention span of a rodent.
TJ: Oh. I see. Yes, well. I'd be happy to help you, if you want.
Me: [starstruck] H-h-h-help m-m-me?
TJ: Yep. [smiles] Even if I don't know the material, I can just help you with flashcards and things.
Me: :iconfrenchsquealplz:

IKR? TJ was like some kind of robot when it came to studies. not to mention all the languages he was working on learning... latin, greek, spanish, french, italian, old english. he even dabbled with welsh, gaelic, and arabic.
